Mahabalipuram, also known as Mamallapuram, is a town on the southeastern coast of India in the Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu. It is located 60 kilometres south of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu. Mahabalipuram is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient temples and rock carvings. It is also a popular tourist destination for its beaches and scenic beauty. A journey from Guindy, Chennai to Mahabalipuram I started my journey to Mahabalipuram early in the morning from Guindy, Chennai. I took the East Coast Road (ECR), which is a scenic highway that runs along the Bay of Bengal. On the way, I stopped at Kovalam Beach to enjoy the beach views. The ECR is a popular route for tourists and locals alike. It is well-maintained and offers beautiful views of the sea. The road is also lined with many restaurants and shops, where you can stop for a bite to eat or buy souvenirs. Kovalam Beach is a beautiful beach located about 40 kilometres from Chennai. It is a popular spot for swim
