Know about NEET 2020 topper who scored 720/720 - Soyeb Aftab

Soyeb Aftab (born 23rd May 2002) hails from Rourkela, Odisha. Soyeb came to lime light after his record score of 720 out of 720 in NEET UG 2020, with this Soyeb also becomes the first NEET topper Odisha. Soyeb comes from a moderate family where his father Sheikh Mohammad Abbas is a businessman and deals in construction business while his mother Sultana Rijia is a homemaker. 


Studies

Soyeb did his schooling from Desouza's School, Rourkela, Odisha & then his 12th from Sarvodaya Paramount School, Kota. Soyeb has been meritoriuos throughout his studies, he had scored 96.8% in his 10th while 95.8% in 12th. Soyeb had choosen Allen career institute in Kota as his coaching center for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). Soyeb priorities were clear to clear medical entrance but he also attempted JEE MAINS 2020 and there also scored 99.97 percentile in Physics and 99.93 percentile in Chemistry but as he had never prepared for Mathematics he could not fair well there and score 15 percentile. Soyeb desires to complete MBBS from AIIMS, Delhi and then specialisation in cardiology to become a heart surgeon.
