- 1964 - Salil Parekh is the chief executive officer and managing director of Infosys since January 2, 2018. Parekh took over from interim CEO U B Pravin Rao. Parekh is a graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) in Aeronautical Engineering and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
