- 2020 - Ajit Pramod Kumar Jogi was an Indian politician, who served as the first chief minister of the state of Chhattisgarh, India. He was a member of the Indian National Congress political party. Jogi studied Mechanical Engineering at the Maulana Azad College of Technology, Bhopal, winning the University Gold Medal in 1968.

- 1972 - Prithviraj Kapoor was an Indian Bollywood actor who was born as Prithvinath Kapoor. He is considered to be one of the founding figures of Hindi cinema. Popular Bollywood actors like Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor were his children, while Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor were his grandchildren. Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Karishma Kapoor are his Great grandchildren. Prithviraj Kapoor was associated with IPTA as one of its founding members and established the Prithvi Theatre in 1944 as a travelling theatre company based in Bombay. Prithviraj Kapoor was also the former Rajya Sabha Member. Some of his popular movies are Mughal-E-Azam, Awaara, and Alam Ara. He is fondly called the "Grand Father of Hindi Cinema". Prithviraj Kapoor was also the first actor from the Kapoor family.
