2023- India's first Hybrid Rocket launched in Chengalpattu in the presence of Tamilisai Soundararajan, Telangana's Governor and Puducherry's Lieutenant Governor. In association with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation and Space Zone India, Martin Foundation launched the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle Mission- 2023. During the launch, more than 5,000 government school students from grades VI to XII including students from the fishermen tribal community in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry attended the launch. The rocket can be used for research in weather, atmospheric conditions and radiation.
