- 2015 - 102nd Indian Science Congress inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi in Mumbai. The association (ISCA) started in the year 1914 in Kolkata and it meets annually in the first week of January every year. Today, it has a membership strength of more than 30,000 scientists.
