2021 - India successfully test-fires a long-range "Supersonic Missile Assisted Torpedo" (SMART) off the coast of Balasore in Odisha. The SMART system will help India enhance its anti-submarine warfare capability.

Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), two Pakistan-based terrorist organisations were involved in the attack on the Parliament of India in New Delhi on 13 December 2001.
