- 2022 - India lost to New Zealand in an ODI series for 1st time in 10 months after the 3rd ODI in Christchurch, New Zealand was abandoned due to rain after 18 overs of New Zealand chase. With this, New Zealand clinched the series 1-0.
- 2022 - Magsaysay awardee journalist Ravish Kumar resigned from NDTV with which he was associated for around 27 years after the takeover of NDTV by Industrialist Adani who is a close friend of current Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ravish joined NDTV on August 1986. He used to work on daily wages as a translator, and his initial work used to be segregating letters of news reports, complaints, advice etc. He resigned after more than 26 years as a Chief Editor of NDTV.
