2022 - Indian Space agency ISRO has successfully launched an Earth Observation Satellite - OCEANSAT, and eight other nanosatellites on a PSLV-C54 rocket into space.
2008 - 26/11 Mumbai attacks, A series of terrorist attacks that took place in November 26, 2008, when 10 members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, an Islamic terrorist organisation based in Pakistan, carried out 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks lasting four days across Mumbai, began on Wednesday 26 November and lasted until Saturday 29 November 2008. At least 174 people died, including 9 attackers.
1998 – The Khanna rail disaster takes 212 lives in Khanna, Ludhiana, India.
1949 – The Constituent Assembly of India adopts the constitution presented by Dr B. R. Ambedkar.
