- 2022 - Indian Space agency ISRO has successfully launched an Earth Observation Satellite - OCEANSAT, and eight other nanosatellites on a PSLV-C54 rocket into space.
- 2008 - 26/11 Mumbai attacks, A series of terrorist attacks that took place in November 26, 2008, when 10 members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, an Islamic terrorist organisation based in Pakistan, carried out 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks lasting four days across Mumbai, began on Wednesday 26 November and lasted until Saturday 29 November 2008. At least 174 people died, including 9 attackers.

- 2022 - Vikram Gokhale was one of the most successful Indian actors mostly working in Hindi & Marathi theatre, films & TV Shows. Gokhale starred in Bollywood films like 'Hum Dil de chuke Sanam, 'Bhool Bhulaiya', 'Sach kahoon toh', 'Siddhant', 'Aamhi Bolato Marathi' (2014), Bang Bang! (2014), Anumati (2013), 'Mission 11 July' (2010), Aaghaat (2010), 'De Dana Dan' (2009). Vikram Gokhale was the son of popular Marathi Theatre and film actor Chandrakant Gokhale. Vikram Gokhale passed away at the age of 82 in a Hospital in Pune.
