Ravinder Singh Robin (born 12th October ) is an independent journalist, presently working with BBC World Services, CNNnews18, SBS Australia as a freelance reporter.
He is a prolific and thought-provoking professional, regularly expressing his views on political issues in public speeches, television appearances, print media, and publications.
In his 20-year stint with Asian News International (ANI), he covered foreign visits of Presidents, Prime Ministers, ministers. He extensively covered many International and National events and conferences including G20, Nuclear Summit, BRICS, ASEAN, SAARC, Indo Pak Conflicts, Gaza-strip conflict between Israel & Palestine, Heart of Asia and significant ministerial conferences.
He has the distinction of covering the United Nations General Assembly and important UN events including Bilateral Summits.
As an enthusiastic traveller, Robin has travelled extensively to United States, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Europe, the Middle East including Israel and Palestine, Far East and South Asian countries for news coverage, investigating stories and documentaries.
A Resource-Consulting and multimedia company OFFBORDERS PRODUCTIONS was established in 2016 by Ravinder Singh Robin to produce documentaries, feature stories, news coverage for global news companies, media houses and TV channels based in India, Germany, USA, Australia, UK, Canada.
Robin has in his credit a 24-page colourful booklet on Amritsar featuring its history and showcasing various places in brief. Robin has received numerous accolades from various State Governments as well as Government of India for his contributions towards journalism and society.
Robin had participated in the Great Himalayas motorcycle expedition and has crossed the highest motorable road Khardungla and reached up to Nubra Valley on a 100 cc motorcycle in around 1994. As per Army personnel who they met on the summit told them that, they were the first to reach this far on a 100cc motorcycle.

Early Life
Ravinder born to a modest family to Father Sardar Surinder Singh and mother Raminder Kaur in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. Ravinder lost his mother very early in his life. He did his early schooling from Aror Vansh model school and matriculation from Khalsa School. Ravinder graduated from Khalsa College, Amritsar.Career

- 2019, November 9 - Ravinder Singh Robin went to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib at Kartarpur in Pakistan on the occasion of 550th Prakash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev, as part of first group of pilgrims.
Honours & Recognitions
- 1988 - He received the prestigious "President's Rover" from His Excellency R. Venkataraman, then President of India.
