- 2019 - Lieutenant Colonel Swaroop Singh Kuntal became the fastest Indian to complete the Ironman Malaysia triathlon in a record time of 12 hours and 14 minutes. The triathlon consisted of 3.8 km of sea swimming, followed by 180 km of cycling and finally 42.2. km of running. The IIT graduate has previously won a 12-hour stadium rum at Chandigarh, where he covered 118.7 km
