2022
- 2022 - India created history on 24th September 2022, by completing a women's ODI series whitewash against England on England soil for the first time ever. India defeated England by 16 runs in the third ODI. India was bowled out for 169 runs, while England was dismissed for 153 runs. Jhulan Goswami, who was featured in her last international match, took two wickets.
- 2022 - Jhulan Nishit Goswami (Jhulan Goswami or popularly known as Jhulu Di) plays her final International Woman cricket match on 24th September 2022.
- 2022 - Grandmaster Nihar Sarin defeated ex-world champion Vladimir Kramnik of round 32 of the 2022 chess.com Global championship.
- 2022 - The CBI on 24th September 2022, raided 56 places across 19 states and one union territory in the country as part of a massive crackdown on child pornography. The raids were conducted based on inputs from Interpol Singapore. CBI code-named this operation against the circulation of child pornography and those circulating it "Operation Megha Chakra".

- 2019 - ISRO's Mars mission meant to last in 6 months, completed 5 full years Today. The orbiter is still sending images and it has sent up to 2 TB of images as of now. ISRO planning to create an atlas of Mars using those images.
- 2019 - Tremors were felt across North Delhi, Punjab and Kashmir, the epicentre of the earthquake was 150km North West of Lahore, Punjab.

- 2014 – The Mars Orbiter Mission makes India the first Asian nation to reach Mars orbit, and the first nation in the world to do so in its first attempt.
- 1972 – Japan Airlines Flight 472 lands at Juhu Aerodrome instead of Santacruz Airport in Bombay, India.
- 1932 – Gandhi and Dr Ambedkar agree to the Poona Pact, which reserved seats in the Indian provincial legislatures for the "Depressed Classes" (Untouchables).
