Update: Youngest elected Member of Parliamentarian in India is Chandrani Murmu from Keonjhar Odisha, she was fielded by Biju Janta Dal(BJD) in 2019 Lok Sabha election, from Keonjhar district.
While Arvind Kumar Singh was the youngest candidate for Member of Parliament in Lok Sabha Election 2014 from Agra Constituency. He was defeated by Satish Kumar (Dushyant) from Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Arvind Kumar Singh was born on 7th November 1988, in Aligarh.
Singh currently is the Chancellor of Noida International University (NIU) and with this post in 2010, Singh became the world's youngest chancellor. Arvind had his schooling in India, moved to England (University of Leeds) for his master's degree in International business. He has been awarded the Doctorate in Management for his work on “How personal evolution and development of leaders impact the growth and success of their organizations.”
Arvind Singh learned politics from his parents only, His father Thakur Jaiveer Singh is currently the member of Legislative Council of Uttar Pradesh and has been elected twice in the Legislative Assembly in the year 2002 and 2007 respectively. And is a two time Cabinet Minister in the UP Govt. His mother Smt. Rajkumari Chauhan is presently serving as the Member of Parliament from Lok Sabha, Aligarh.
This is what I know about him till date and if he achieves his claim to be the youngest MP after the 2014 election, then for sure will share much more info about him. Hope young leaders like him come forward and help India to cherish the dream of a developed nation.
