Its really very sad to hear such rude, harsh and even some abusive words against Khaps by the news channels these days. India has around 3 crores Khaps. But still, Media channels treating them like they are the only illiterate and ignorant people in the world.
They are a huge community and they are strictly following some strong rituals which for the current scenario don't suit at all, but that doesn't give us a reason to abuse them for their cultures and traditions. It's their own traditions they are following and we don't have any right to abuse them publicly.
It's true some of their decisions are wrong and very outdated, those rules should not be practised anymore.
But who gave us this authority to say that they are not human or they don't have a brain to think.
It's their tradition which they are following, they should not be explicitly guided to come over their tradition all of a sudden.
What I think is they need to understand the current situation on their own. And if they don't then someone like Sri Ravishankar, should be sent to them to convince and enlighten them to the real world.
They should not be called inhuman or should not be treated like the way some people treating them.
They are a huge community and they too have good brains in them, they have goodwill and mental power to retain theirs and their huge community. They are strong believers and strong followers. We Indians are none other than but a part and parcel of them.
Actually, we have left our own culture to such an extent that we are in no condition to accept our legacies.
It doesn't mean that we too should act like Khaps, but Khaps should be respected and they should be allowed to join the mainstream.
We without Khaps are actually not a whole India. India includes Khaps and Khaps too is India.
Be a human and treat every other human to be a human.
Chowmein though can't replace a viagra or marriage at 16 too can't stop rapist to rape, it doesn't mean people thinking the reverse of it are wrong in every aspect.
